In the anatomical classification of ear diseases:<\/p>\n
1. External auditory canal diseases
\n2. Middle ear diseases
\n3. \u0130nner ear disease<\/p>\n
The most important causes of external auditory canal diseases;
\n\u2022 Drooped pinna (%30),
\n\u2022 Excessive hair in the canal (15%),
\n\u2022 Water trapped in the ear canal (%5),
\n\u2022 The stenosis of the ear canal (2%),
\n\u2022 Related to the causes mentioned above, various infections in the ear canal.<\/p>\n
Most middle and inner ear diseases occur with the spread of external auditory canal diseases into the middle and inner ear.<\/p>\n
The most common causes of ear diseases in patients coming to our polyclinic;<\/p>\n
\u2022 Allergic reactions (40%),
\n\u2022 Fungal and bacterial infection (40%),
\n\u2022 Parasitic diseases (10%)
\n\u2022 Foreign matters (%5) and injury (5%),
\n\u2022 Ear canal tumors and polyps (Rarely)
\n\u2022 We also encounter ear rupture, diseases of the tympanic bulla, balance disorders, vestibular syndrome, horner syndrome, chronic degenerative diseases.<\/p>\n
Important Note: The most important criteria of success in the treatment of ear diseases is the correct diagnosis. The most common problem we encounter is wrong or incomplete diagnosis and treatment.
