Endoscopy

Endoscopy is the insertion of a long, thin tube directly into the body to observe an internal organ or tissue in detail.
If polyp is seen during the procedure, it can be removed with a special method, and a biopsy (pieces of millimeter tissue) is taken and sent for pathological examination.

Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy is an endoscopic examination of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum by entering through the mouth.

• Endoscopy of the esophagus is esophagoscopy.
• Endoscopy of the stomach is gastroscopy.
• Endoscopy of the duodenum is duodenoscopy

Lower gastrointestinal endoscopy is an endoscopic examination of the large intestine by entering from the anus.

• Endoscopy of the last part of the large intestine is called rectoscopy.
• Colonoscopy is the endoscopic examination of the large bowel and the distal part of the small bowel with a camera on a flexible tube passed through the anus.

Gastroscopy

The gastroscopy is a procedure where a thin, flexible tube called an endoscope is used to look inside the esophagus, stomach and first part of the small intestine (duodenum). It's also sometimes referred to as an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy.

It provides diagnosis of stomach ulcers and gastric lymphoma, removal of foreign bodies and biopsy taken when necessary.

Colonoscopy

Colonoscopy is name of examining bowels placed after intestine and colon.

Arthroscopy

It is a method that provides the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries occurring within the joint by visual inspection of the joints using fiberoptic devices.

It is mostly used in meniscus rupture, injuries of anterior cruciate ligament and posterior cruciate ligament, cartilage diseases, and very good results are obtained.

In addition, arthroscopy is a very successful method of diagnosis and treatment in various diseases of the membrane layer called synovia.

Bronchoscopy

Bronchoscopy is a procedure to look directly at the airways in the lungs using a thin, lighted tube (bronchoscope).

With fiberobtic bronchoscopy, many diseases, especially lung cancer, can be diagnosed. It has an important role in the diagnosis of tracheal collapse (narrowing of the trachea), which is common in small breed.

There are no complications of imaging and biopsy procedures performed with bronchoscopy.

Rhinoscopy

Rhinoscopy is the name for examination of the nasal cavity.

It is used to detect and remove tumors and foreign bodies in the region. It can also be used to take a biopsy.
