General Examination

General Examination

The most important and critical point we focus on is to perform a complete and correct examination for a correct diagnosis and treatment. Adequate and complete anamnesis is crucial for proper treatment. Accordingly, the information provided by the patient owner is very important. In accordance with the information given by the patient owner, the symptoms of the animal are evaluated, and then specific examinations are carried out to solve the problem.

Check-Up

Check-up is a control procedure performed before any symptoms appear.

With the check-up, diseases that have just begun to form in the organism but have not yet developed any symptoms can be diagnosed and the disease can be treated before it progresses. The frequency of check-ups should be determined by your veterinarian, taking into account the age of the animal and the general health status.

In our clinic, check-up applications are carried out for the diagnosis of many diseases. These applications are:

• General examination
• Complete blood count
• Biochemistry
• X-ray
• Urine tests
• Stool analysis
• USG (Ultrasonography)
• ECG (Electrocardiography)
• ECO (Echocardiography)
• Serological tests

If necessary, other examinations are made in addition to all these methods.

Hormonal Diseases

Hormonal diseases are common problems in animals brought to our clinic. The correct diagnosis and treatment of these diseases are the most important factors affecting the quality of life and life expectancy of the patients. In our clinic, the analyses required for the diagnosis of all the above diseases are completed using the cutting-edge technological devices. In the light of all these information, the necessary and correct treatment is performed in full harmony and communication with the patient owner. On top of that, one of the most important criteria for us is to follow up the patient regularly.

Microchip Application

Microchip is a technological product that ensures the permanent registration of identity information of cats and dogs. It’s size is small and it contains a fifteen-digit number. Microchip’s number is unique. It is not re-used for any other animal. This number is entered in a database and information about the animal is recorded there.
Microchips with ISO 11784 and 11785 standards can be read anywhere in the world via their special device. Its outer surface consists of a capsule compatible with living tissue.
There is no energy producing resource inside. It works passively with the energy it receives from an electronic reader and sends the radio frequency it receives back to the reader.
This allows the identification number to appear on the reader's screen.

How is it applied?

For cats and dogs, it is applied under the skin in the area between the two scapulae.
They do not move to another region. Because they are produced with a technique in which movements under the skin are minimized.

Why microchip should be applied?

According to the European Union Pet Passport Law, the application of microchips is obligatory when pets are to be transported to another country. An animal with a microchip can be easily identified so that its owner can be determined.
Microchip application is implemented in our clinic in accordance with the specified standards.
