Ozone Gas
Ozone gas is a colorless gas and consist of 3 oxygen atoms. It is located in the upper layers of the atmosphere. The main substance of ozone gas is oxygen. Ozone is the only gas that cannot be stored. This is because the ozone gas turns into oxygen over time in line with the temperature of its environment. The specific version of ozone that is used for treatment purposes is medical ozone and it is used as a mixture of pure ozone and pure oxygen.
Effects of ozone gas:
● Icreases the formation of white blood cells (defensive cells and protects against infections) and increases their functions.
● Kills bacteria, viruses and fungi.
● It is the most powerful natural and waste-free disinfectant.
● Strengthens the immune system and increases the resistance against infections.
● Has a curative effect for the treatment of diseases caused by weakening of the immune system.
● Prevents the growth and spread of cancer cells.
● Increases the elasticity of red blood cells (red cells carrying oxygen in the blood) and accelerates the passage through capillaries.
● Increases oxygenation of organs by increasing blood's ability to release oxygen to tissues.
● Accelerates intracellular respiration (obtaining the energy source necessary for the cell to function).
● Accelerates the removal of heavy metal poisonings, insecticides, drug waste, acidic substances and agricultural drug residues.
● Provides pain relieving properties produced by the metabolism that functions as natural painkillers
● Decreases the consistency of the blood and thus provides its fluidity. As a result, it regulates the blood circulation by ensuring that the plaques in the vascular wall are softened and the plugs in the small blood vessels dissolve.
Application Types of Ozone
● Major Method: The most commonly used method is to take 50-200 ml of blood and return it to the body after mixing the dose with the specified ozone.
● Minor Method: 2-5 cc blood taken from the individual is mixed with a specified dose of ozone and injected into the muscle.
● Subcutaneous: Ozone gas of specified dose and volume is injected under the skin with a fine-tipped needle.
● Giving Ozone Gas to Body Cavities: Ozone is given by spraying to rectal, vaginal and ear canal.
● Ozone Gas Delivery into the Joint: In case of joint disorders, a certain dose of ozone gas is introduced into the joint with a suitable needle.
● Use of Ozonized Products: It is applied as an external application of ozonated liquids such as ozonated water and ozonated oil.
● Ozone application in or around the mass or lesion
Situations where we use ozone therapy most frequently:
● To help treating dogs with parvoviral enteritis,
